The Transcatheter Heart Valve (THV) business unit partners with cardiologists and clinical teams to transform patient care with devices supported by clinical evidence, aiming to help patients live longer and healthier lives. Key Responsibilities

  • Project manage moderately complex or mid-size congresses/event elements including pre-planning and post congress communications
  • Develop strategies for both internal and external conferences and events
  • Develop and track project plans, track milestones and alert to deadlines
  • Negotiate contracts as needed
  • Plan and execute mid-size scale regional conferences independently
  • Manage deliverables and payments to Congress Associations; track and reconcile all project budgets
  • Oversee and facilitate all ancillary meetings and requests at national congresses
  • Participate in site evaluations
  • Initiate and implement all consulting agreements, non-disclosure agreements, and RFAA contracts; serve as liaison with legal department
  • Assist with event planning responsibilities such as communications, travel, AV, onsite set-up, and F&B planning
  • Perform other duties as assigned by Management

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree with 3 years of related work experience
  • Experience working in sales, marketing, or healthcare industry preferred

  • Proven expertise in MS Office Suite
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal relationship skills
  • Good problem-solving, critical thinking, and investigative skills
  • Solid knowledge and understanding of policies, procedures, and guidelines relevant to strategic event planning

  • Ability to interact professionally with all organizational levels
  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work in a team environment with global marketing team and cross-functional partners
  • Ability to build productive internal/external working relationships
  • Adherence to all company rules and requirements, including pandemic protocols and Environmental Health & Safety rules

  • Educational background: Bachelor's Degree

  • For California, the base pay range is $66,000 to $94,000 depending on qualifications and experience
