About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze full communications programming and measure impact across channels such as paid media, social media, earned media, influencer, website, and search.
• Support primary research projects (quantitative and qualitative) and secondary research with guidance from managers and senior staff.
• Leverage various tools, technology, and secondary data sources to define and profile target audiences, predict trends, assess industry and competitor landscapes, analyze conversations, and identify white space opportunities for clients.
• Partner with strategists, brand teams, and channel experts to ensure research ties to clear, actionable insights that guide communications and PR strategies.
• Provide strategic consumer and business insights that are insightful and actionable, not just data dumps, to account teams and new business teams.
• Distill research findings into visually appealing reports that tell a concise and clear story and meet client objectives.
• Understand clients' objectives and ensure research and insights deliverables align with those needs.
• Participate in the development of new and incremental business opportunities.
• Gain exposure to industry innovations in a collaborative environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a related field; Master's degree or certifications/courses in data analytics or communications/PR are helpful.
• Minimum of 1-2 years of related experience in communications strategic insights, data, analytics, and research; PR/communications measurement experience is helpful.
• Ability to collaborate with team members across multiple geographies.
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and meet deadlines.
• Proactive in anticipating next steps and advancing projects.
• Experience supporting primary and secondary research projects.
• Interest in learning new research technologies, tools, and methods, including AI.
• Proficiency with Microsoft tools such as PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.

Nice to Have

• Writing experience, especially in understanding data and insights.
• Experience with website analytics tools like Google Analytics or Adobe Analytics.
• Familiarity with social media measurement and monitoring tools such as Brandwatch, Talkwalker, LexisNexis.
• Knowledge of search engine optimization and search tools.
• Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau, Google Data Studio, or PowerBI.
• Advanced Excel skills such as pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, or formulas.
