Consulting Manager- Communication, Media and Technology

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Support or own and manage one or more project workstream(s), including deliverables, while adhering to budget, timelines, and client engagement guidelines.
• Partner with clients and project stakeholders and apply technical and domain expertise to solve core client business challenges or inefficiencies; this may include leading and managing small solutioning teams.
• Lead consulting engagements with end-to-end project management responsibility.
• Develop and drive strategic initiatives while managing timeline, resources, and deliverables.
• Navigate complex stakeholder environments and lead difficult conversations when necessary.
• Create and present high-level, concise client deliverables that effectively communicate key messages.
• Develop both immediately actionable recommendations and innovative future state solutions.
• Guide and mentor team members.
• Translate strategic concepts into practical recommendations.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships at multiple organizational levels.
• Develop practice capabilities and brand recognition by exercising thought leadership, establishing a consultative presence within Cognizant and the wider consulting community, and participating in professional organizations.

Requirements

• 5-7 years of experience in a Strategic-Management Consulting style role.
• Completed MBA from a top-tier Business School.
• Proven track record in project management and client relationship management.
• Hands-on experience in marketing or cloud technology fields.
• Hands-on experience with sales CRM technologies like Salesforce or Dynamics.
• Exceptional strategic thinking capabilities balanced with operational implementation expertise.
• Outstanding communication skills (written and oral) with the ability to influence key stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ability to develop concise, high-impact client deliverables.
• Experience leading teams and mentoring colleagues.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to synthesize complex information into clear insights.
• Solid Microsoft Office skills including Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
• Willingness to travel as needed.

Qualifications

• MBA from a top-tier Business School
