About the Role

We are seeking a Consumer Direct Interaction - IT Project Manager in Charlotte to support our client's PMO. This role involves transforming high-level concepts into concrete business and project plans, leading cross-functional teams, and working in North Charlotte with a hybrid onsite/remote schedule.

Key Responsibilities

Transform ambiguous directives into comprehensive business and project plans
Define project requirements, scope, and deliverables from minimal initial information
Identify key stakeholders and workstream owners for projects in their early stages
Lead cross-functional teams to drive solutions and achieve project objectives
Perform pre-work necessary to establish project foundations and frameworks
Manage multiple concurrent projects while maintaining high quality standards
Work on-site 3 days per week in North Charlotte
Drive projects forward with minimal supervision and structured direction
Foster team integration and growth through hands-on leadership

Requirements

5-10 years of project management experience
Strong ability to work in ambiguous situations and define solutions independently
Solution-driven mindset with the ability to multi-task effectively
Experience leading teams and driving collaborative solutions
Excellent communication skills with the ability to work directly with senior leadership
Ability to commute to North Charlotte for onsite work 3 days a week
Self-motivated with the ability to work without highly structured direction
Experience with business planning and strategy implementation

Nice to Have

PMP certification
Agile thinking capabilities and flexibility in approach to project management
Experience working in a client-facing environment
