About the Role

The Consumer Insight Manager at Walt Disney Parks and Resorts is responsible for developing, executing, synthesizing, and leveraging research, analytics, and other internal and external sources of insight to shape marketing strategies that drive the business. This role supports marketing campaign development, creative testing, and informs marketing activations and tactics for the Walt Disney World Resort. The position involves partnering closely with Marketing and Sales Strategy, Customer Engagement, and Creative Teams to deepen understanding of consumer audiences, behaviors, motivators, attitudes, and barriers, ultimately enabling consumer-centric decision-making within a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Independently manage all phases of the market research process supporting creative testing and marketing strategies including needs identification, project design, execution, analysis, and presentation of results.
  • Establish credibility as a partner who can translate insight into actionable, business-driving strategies.
  • Foster relationships with external and internal partners, building influence.
  • Create and present succinct, compelling communications that influence senior leadership.
  • Identify and implement innovative solutions.

Requirements

  • Minimum five years relevant experience in a related field (e.g., marketing/sales, market research, business analytics, strategic planning).
  • Exceptional project management skills.
  • Experience in data analytics.
  • Experience evaluating and understanding consumer decision making and business implications.
  • Experience in quantitative, qualitative research and statistical techniques.
  • Expertise in use of Excel (can maintain complex spreadsheets) and PowerPoint.
  • Strong attention to detail and intellectual curiosity while keeping business goals in mind.
  • Experience in SPSS data statistical software.

Nice to Have

  • Previous experience supporting creative assessment, guest experience measurement, pricing studies, product innovation, forecasting consumer behavior, or similar studies.
  • Experience with SPSS and Tableau.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
