About the Role

TelevisaUnivision is the leading Spanish-language media company in the world, investing in content, people, and properties across digital, streaming, social, audio, linear, and live events. The company is growing its offerings, including the successful streaming platform ViX, which delivers content to millions of viewers. The Content Analyst role involves turning raw data into clear insights to inform content decisions across the Content Lifecycle, helping to increase viewer engagement and retention.

Key Responsibilities

Analyze audience behavior and identify trends in viewing habits, retention, and engagement.
Track content performance to understand what works, what doesn't, and why.
Build reports and dashboards using SQL, BigQuery, Looker, or Tableau to create useful reporting tools.
Work with multiple teams, including Production/Development, Programming, Adsales/Marketing, and Licensing.
Look for deeper insights beyond surface-level analysis to shape content strategy.
Support every programming decision at ViX with data insights to influence what people watch and how they engage.

Requirements

1-3 years of experience in data analytics, content research, or a related field.
Proficiency in SQL.
Experience with BigQuery, Snowflake, or similar platforms.
Hands-on experience with BI tools such as Looker, Google Analytics, Tableau, or equivalent.
Understanding of streaming metrics including retention, engagement, churn, and audience segmentation.

Nice to Have

Experience with data visualization software.
Knowledge of cloud data warehouses.
Experience with data reporting and research.

Qualifications

Experience in data analytics or content research
Proficiency in SQL
Experience with platforms like BigQuery or Snowflake
