About the Role

This position requires the successful candidate to be on site at Hard Rock Cafe in Davie, FL. Under the direction of the Director of Marketing, the role involves supporting all social media marketing efforts, developing brand strategies, campaigns, and tactics to engage guests and expand brand presence across traditional and emerging media platforms. The job includes managing social media content, influencer partnerships, community engagement, and coordinating with internal departments to enhance marketing initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide clear guidance and a strategic framework for global-level corporate communications to field team members for all social media-related activities.
  • Manage our social media agency, providing clear guidance for content creation and strategy to ensure brand goals are met.
  • Direct creator and influencer management from strategy to execution, including researching and establishing relationships with key influencers and managing partnerships to create effective campaigns for earned media exposure.
  • Responsible for curating content and maintaining all global social media platforms, including Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, LinkedIn, Instagram, and emerging platforms like Threads.
  • Help lead the social sharing expectations for the brand; improve content and help reduce promotional costs.
  • Responsible for social growth and engagement, improving consumer interaction with current posting strategies to enhance organic reach and lower ad costs.
  • Work with existing social agencies for reporting and measurement metrics.
  • Conduct regular audits of the Hard Rock Cafe website to ensure content is updated and accurate.
  • Lead efforts in planning, development, and implementation of social media strategies, editorial calendars, and tactical plans, ensuring relevance and brand consistency.
  • Manage community engagement and involvement via social media and in person, including onsite presence at events, promotions, and celebrity appearances for content creation and live social media engagement.
  • Establish and grow relationships with key influencers such as bloggers, personalities, and entertainers.
  • Create effective copy and campaigns for earned media exposure.
  • Develop, execute, and leverage mobile and social media efforts to grow market share and brand awareness.
  • Create mobile and social media campaign strategies, including program outlines and recommendations.
  • Measure and report performance of marketing activities, identify trends, and optimize plans accordingly.
  • Maintain measurement and evaluation systems for social and mobile programs using platforms like Emplifi.
  • Extend marketing initiatives into external publications for SEO purposes.
  • Manage and allocate budgets for social media campaigns, paid advertising, and influencer marketing to ensure ROI.
  • Work closely with internal departments to resolve customer/crisis service issues in digital spaces.
  • Monitor online reviews on sites such as TripAdvisor, Yelp, and OTA sites.
  • Coordinate social media efforts with digital marketing campaigns and serve as liaison between PR, Digital Marketing, and other departments.
  • Support other key marketing efforts as needed.

Requirements

  • At least 7 years of direct social, digital, marketing, and/or brand marketing experience, including implementation of digital, mobile, and emerging campaigns.
  • At least 5 years of social media/web 2.0 experience as an online marketer.
  • At least 3 years of hospitality experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage marketing budgets effectively.
  • Bachelor's degree in hospitality, marketing, or business administration, or equivalent experience.
  • Knowledge of mobile, emerging, and social media, and their application to advertising campaigns.
  • Experience leveraging social media platforms for advertising campaigns.
  • Understanding of social media platforms including Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, blogs, etc.
  • Attention to detail and effective communication skills in both written and verbal formats.
  • Ability to plan, develop, and implement projects/programs under deadlines.
  • Technologically savvy with a solid understanding of web, online marketing, and direct marketing practices.
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor.
  • Ability to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, CapCut, and Adobe Suite.
