About the Role

The Content Producer at Dallas Wings is responsible for shooting, producing, and editing digital marketing content for FCP properties, including the Dallas Wings of the WNBA. The role requires a strong knowledge of digital marketing channels and social media platforms, with a creative mindset focused on storytelling through video and photography. The position involves collaboration with various teams, live event coverage, and staying current with video production trends.

Key Responsibilities

Create entertaining and informative content with dynamic visual storytelling through videography, photography, and editing.
Prepare, produce, and direct live and pre-recorded content for Wings digital platforms and assist with social media content production.
Create digital content for internal teams including Marketing, Community, Sponsorship, Ticket Sales, and Dallas Wings Community Foundation for use across multiple outlets.
Log video footage and photography on a weekly basis.
Collaborate with content and creative teams on campaigns and projects to drive revenue and social media engagement.
Lead assignment of gameday and game night video and editing duties.
Help teach editing techniques and skills to other content team members.
Assist in live-streamed coverage and events.
Stay up to date on latest video & production trends and equipment to innovate content creation.
Travel for away games and other events.
Prepare and produce all team content for game days.
Attend all home games and select community and networking events, which may occur on nights, weekends, or holidays.

Requirements

Intermediate ability with video equipment, camera settings, and formats.
Intermediate skills in videography and photography.
Intermediate technical and editing skills, including strong knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, Adobe Premiere, and After Effects.
High attention to detail and organization skills.
Experience working in a collaborative, deadline-oriented environment.
Ability to work nights, weekends, and some holidays around live events and games.
Knowledge of sports, including WNBA.
Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university.
Minimum 2-4 years of professional experience in digital media production, including videography and editing.
Motion Design experience preferred.
Portfolio required.
