Content Specialist, Apparel

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Own social media strategy, posting, and customer engagement for Varsity Spirit Fashion and Varsity All Star Fashion accounts.
• Collaborate with the social media team to develop and implement content strategies that promote apparel products.
• Manage on-site fashion-focused social content capture at events and photoshoots.
• Engage with audiences and respond to inquiries and comments on social accounts.
• Align messaging with communications and customer service teams to ensure high-quality assistance.
• Support content coordination, communication, and campaign execution with fashion content crew, brand ambassadors, and influencers.
• Partner with the Director of Marketing - Fashion to plan and execute integrated marketing campaigns.
• Develop and deliver content for paid media, web, and email channels to support marketing objectives.
• Monitor content performance and engagement metrics, utilizing analytics to optimize strategies.
• Assist in developing content and campaign strategies for new product launches, including footwear, band wear, and dance wear.
• Own the content creation process from shooting and editing to captioning and posting engaging Reels, Stories, and static posts.

Requirements

• Well-organized and detail-oriented with the ability to coordinate multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Team player with strong cross-functional communication skills.
• Approaches tasks with creativity, passion, and integrity.
• BS/BA in marketing, communications, or equivalent.
• 1-3 years of experience in marketing, communications, or related field preferred.
• Social media marketing experience is a plus.
• A background in both school and all-star cheerleading is required.
• Varsity Spirit camp staff experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or equivalent.
• 1-3 years of relevant experience preferred.
