About the Role

Our client, a growing employee benefits consulting and brokerage firm, is seeking a junior-level Graphic Designer for a temporary contract to assist the design & communication team. The ability to work independently and collaboratively in a deadline-oriented, corporate, team environment is an important component of this position.

Key Responsibilities

Create communication materials (benefit guidebooks, flyers, etc.) for clients using a library of InDesign templates, incorporating client-specific customizations
Build and update electronic communication resources for clients
Ensure brand consistency across multiple communications
Support internal staff's communication needs such as presentation and document editing
Design PowerPoint templates
Review materials to ensure accuracy
Manage high volume of work to meet time-sensitive client deadlines

Requirements

Proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud (specifically InDesign)
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint
Knowledge of and efficiency in designing for both print and web
Understanding of print, digital and interactive design principles, techniques and best practices
Strong knowledge of typographic hierarchy
Excellent time management and organizational skills with ability to multi-task effectively
Detail-oriented with excellent editing and quality review skills
Reliable team player who also has the ability to work well independently

Nice to Have

A Certification or Degree in Graphic Design or related field
Knowledge of the employee benefit business

Qualifications

A Certification or Degree in Graphic Design or related field preferred
