About the Role

The Digital Media Lab Student Assistant at the University of Montevallo assists patrons of the Digital Media Lab and Carmichael Library by providing support with various multimedia and design tools, ensuring excellent customer service, and answering patron's computer technology questions. This is a part-time, work-study position aimed at supporting the university's digital media resources and services.

Key Responsibilities

Assist patrons of the Digital Media Lab in using Adobe Creative Cloud Suite, Photoshop, Premiere, GarageBand, iMovie, Rhino, and audio and video editing basics.
Support patrons with 3D design tasks.
Provide excellent customer service and answer patrons' computer technology questions.

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
Must be available to work some evenings until 12 A.M.
Possess superior interpersonal and customer service skills.
Must be detail oriented.
Ability to recognize and protect confidential information.
Be punctual and dependable.
Possess intermediate technical skills.
