Creative Strategist- Sales Marketing, CNBC Events

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with CNBC Events sales directors and internal partners across various departments to craft strategic marketing solutions for clients, both proactively and in response to RFPs.
• Create custom proposals that communicate complex ideas through concise and powerful marketing opportunities, emphasizing visual storytelling and appealing slide design.
• Review each custom proposal for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to brand standards, including notes, callouts, and caveats.
• Develop supporting materials such as custom program recaps and case studies to assist sales efforts.
• Build executive-level meeting presentations to communicate CNBC Events' value proposition and opportunities.
• Maintain creative consistency across all proposals and collateral, ensuring alignment with CNBC Events brand identity and quality standards.
• Conduct industry and competitive research, providing insights and recommendations to enhance storytelling and value proposition.
• Organize and track all outgoing proposals and maintain web-based folders for the sales and marketing team.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience creating custom sales proposals and supporting materials for Sales & Marketing organizations, ideally in the B2B events space.
• Proven success in developing sales proposal strategies while working with cross-functional teams, including senior leadership.
• Exceptional critical thinking and problem-solving skills, approaching each situation strategically.
• Excellent written and visual storytelling skills, with the ability to craft concise language and sleek PowerPoint presentations.
• Highly detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Solid understanding of B2B events and media sales ecosystems, key trends, and marketplace dynamics.
• Ability to develop strong working relationships and leverage them to achieve results.
