About the Role

The City of Plano's Economic Development Department is seeking a talented and visionary Senior Marketing and Design Specialist to elevate the city's brand and showcase Plano as a premier destination for business and investment. The role involves leading creative marketing initiatives from concept to completion, producing high-quality visuals, campaigns, and stories that resonate with businesses, community partners, and the public. The position is primarily focused on hands-on, in-house design work, managing external consultants and agencies, and ensuring brand consistency and quality across all marketing efforts.

Key Responsibilities

Lead creative marketing initiatives from concept to completion, producing visuals, campaigns, and stories.
Manage external consultants and agencies as an extension of the team.
Ensure brand consistency and high standards of quality across all marketing initiatives.
Turn ideas into polished, professional marketing materials.
Strategically think about marketing and community engagement efforts.
