About the Role

Shaw Sports Turf is transforming the look and feel of athletic fields, seeking a bold, forward-thinking Game On & CreaTurf Designer to lead creative concept development and field visualization. This role bridges visionary design with production precision, collaborating with sales and internal teams to bring high-impact ideas to life for clients and support innovative turf platforms.

Key Responsibilities

Conceptualize original field designs for Sales presentations, bringing new and unconventional ideas to life with strong visual impact
Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Distributors to create compelling presentation renderings that help close deals
Translate approved designs into detailed, production-ready layouts for tufting, printing, or cutting
Convert vector graphics (logos, artwork, linework) into raster files compatible with production formats
Rework customer-submitted artwork for scale, clarity, and manufacturing compatibility
Provide clear CAD/PDF files for internal stakeholders and customer installation instructions as needed
Partner with Manufacturing and the CAD team to troubleshoot technical layout challenges
Maintain version control and update files through the project lifecycle
Support design execution for both Game On and CreaTurf product lines
Serve as a creative consultant internally, championing bold design ideas that meet client goals and manufacturing realities

Requirements

A creative visionary who understands spatial design, branding, and the production process
Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple high-stakes projects
Strong graphic design foundation with fluency in both vector and raster workflows (Illustrator, Photoshop required) along with knowledge in rasterized images including indexed images
Experience in environmental graphics, large-format layout, or sports branding preferred
Technical design skills including file prep, scaling, and pattern repeat knowledge
Familiarity with CAD tools (AutoCAD, or similar) or willingness to learn
Comfortable reading architectural blueprints and integrating technical specs into creative work
Excellent communicator who thrives in a collaborative, cross-functional environment

Nice to Have

3-5 years in graphic design, product design, or a similar experience
Experience designing sports fields, event spaces, or branded environments
Understanding of turf, flooring, textile, or signage production
