About the Role

Join the credit card product team as we move with pace on our journey to modernize and scale our business. In this job, you will be responsible to identify, curate and bring to life new digital features and functionalities for our consumer and small business credit card products. Core responsibilities will include assisting in the development and execution of a multi-year digital strategy, identifying requirements, understanding and driving towards a best-in-class user experience, in the digital space and holistically. This will include aligning with key partners to ensure proper stakeholder participation, awareness and support. Your expertise will help to ensure that our credit cards will compete effectively against our regional and national competition, as well as ensure our customers make real financial progress.

Key Responsibilities

  • Advise and execute the roadmap for consumer and small business credit card products
  • Participate in the A27 & A30 strategic planning
  • Participate in US Product team, US retail payments and NARP team meetings and initiatives
  • Consult with your business partners to turn ideas and requirements into actionable solutions
  • Bridge the gap between business processes and technical solutioning
  • Develop the skills of your team and providing leadership support
  • Partner with Digital to deliver and execute on the transformation road map
  • Develop understanding of digital wallets and support growth strategies
  • Demonstrate Consumer & Small Business digital platform SME
  • Research, define, align, develop, and implement sales and marketing strategies with P&L accountability
  • Carry out market research, forecasting, pricing, and competitive analysis
  • Monitor product and system performance and assess problems to develop solutions
  • Manage product risks in compliance with legal, regulatory, and risk standards
  • Collaborate with internal partners to take products to market
  • Develop business cases, strategic plans, and risk management controls
  • Design and produce reports, dashboards, and analyze data for insights
  • Support change management and operational program implementation
  • Monitor key performance metrics and recommend action plans
  • Lead/manage vendor relationships and external partnerships
  • Resolve escalations and policy exceptions
  • Participate in market research, competitive analysis, and customer insights evaluation
  • Support product lifecycle management, including development, implementation, and enhancement
  • Develop salesforce training, marketing strategies, and product documentation
  • Influence credit product risk parameters and metrics
  • Provide technical and analytical support, handle non-routine situations

Requirements

  • Typically between 5 - 7 years of relevant experience and post-secondary degree in related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Strong experience with consumer / commercial credit applicable to retail and business financing products
  • Strong experience working with retail and business product fundamentals, including product design, functionality, and policies
  • Knowledge of product delivery infrastructure systems and interdependencies
  • In-depth retail and business banking environmental awareness
  • In-depth risk management related to product development and management
  • Strong knowledge of process coordination and management
  • Knowledge of banking product management and regulatory requirements
  • Ability to build business cases and research market trends in-depth
  • Relationship management skills in-depth
  • Analytics and reporting skills in-depth
  • Product marketing expertise in-depth
  • Negotiation skills - good
  • Software and systems architecture knowledge - good/in-depth

Qualifications

  • Post-secondary degree in related field or equivalent experience
