Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and coordinate execution of content for Instagram in partnership with internal and external partners.
  • Develop and manage world-class content that is visionary, culturally relevant, and positively impacts society.
  • Influence Instagram's social strategy across owned channels, including owning the development of Instagram, understanding the social presence of the brand, and suggesting ways to better position Instagram.
  • Identify key moments to activate Instagram brand across the global cultural calendar through a mix of content, partnerships, and campaigns.
  • Conduct strategic project oversight with stakeholders to achieve campaign delivery excellence.
  • Perform qualitative and quantitative analysis of cultural, community, technological, media, and market trends to inform strategic and creative development for content, partnerships, and campaigns.
  • Work cross-functionally with teams to ensure all work is grounded in community understanding, data, and insights to deliver data-driven results.
  • Support development of a robust measurement plan to evaluate content strategy and demonstrate business impact.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (or foreign degree equivalent) in Economics, Anthropology, Cultural Studies and Comparative Literature, History, Sociology, Social Sciences, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Six years of work experience in managing large scale budgets and content operations.
  • Experience translating insights, ideas, and data into customer value.
  • Proven ability to create breakthrough campaigns that evolve a brand to reach target audiences.
  • Experience working for a brand creating compelling stories, content, or campaigns.
  • Experience collaborating with product, marketing, research/analytics, and communications teams at all management levels.
  • Ability to conduct qualitative and quantitative analysis to deliver data-driven results.
  • Skill in leveraging cultural, community, technological, media, and market trends for insights.
  • Experience establishing an integrated marketing approach to build positive brand reputation.
  • Experience developing content in global markets (EMEA, APAC, LATAM).
  • Ability to develop marketing strategy briefs including positioning, audience targeting, cultural analysis, and creative strategies.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or foreign degree equivalent in relevant fields.
  • Six years of relevant work experience in marketing, content management, or related areas.
