About the Role

The Community Relations Representative II is responsible for developing and maintaining new contacts and/or partnerships in the community within the western region of North Carolina. This field-based role involves traveling to client sites or designated locations, engaging with community organizations, provider offices, faith-based organizations, and conducting marketing activities to increase community presence. The position supports healthcare outreach and enrollment efforts, acting as a liaison to community advocacy groups and assisting members with benefit inquiries. Key Responsibilities

Leads and manages strategies within a specific territory or business initiative.
Acts as liaison with community advocacy groups that impact the target population.
Identifies, develops, and builds relationships with community organizations, provider offices, and faith-based organizations.
Performs activities to enhance the company's presence in the community.
Assists members and potential members with benefit and/or enrollment inquiries.
Identifies cultural issues regarding current and potential members and communicates issues to management.
Tracks all marketing and sales activities and maintains a sales database.
Conducts marketing presentations to establish rapport, assess individual needs, and communicate product/benefit features and differences.

Requirements

Requires a high school diploma or equivalent.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in healthcare or sales/marketing environment, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Valid driver's license and access to a motor vehicle with valid insurance.

Nice to Have

AD or BA/BS degree preferred.
Experience/familiarity with community and faith-based organizations supporting the delivery area.
Knowledge of plan and/or competitors' value-added benefits.
Experience with PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in healthcare or sales/marketing.
