Data Analyst

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Compile multiple reports into concise and comprehensive Business Reviews
• Ensure there is backup skill set or redundancy for each business critical report to accommodate PTO and open positions without impact on the business
• Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques, and provide ongoing reports
• Interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets
• Leverage system and reporting tools to provide meaningful analyses and automate reports
• Locate and define new process improvement opportunities
• Prepare and present key performance indicators (KPIs) on a daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual basis
• Provide training and guidance within team
• Oversee reporting and analyzed data to ensure accuracy of information provided to management
• Understand the roles and responsibilities of Data Analysts within each department
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Statistics, Mathematics or a related field
• One to three years of previous experience
• Experience with reporting and systems software (e.g., data warehouses)
• Advanced knowledge in Excel and Access; experience with ACL, Lawson, and Crystal Reports preferred
• Effectively communicate in English, both oral and written, with employees and upper management
• Maintain confidentiality and practice discretion when handling sensitive information
• Meet tight deadlines and multi-task with attention to detail
• Self-motivated, organized, with time-management and deductive problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Nice to Have

• Experience with ACL, Lawson, and Crystal Reports

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field
• One to three years of relevant experience

• Salary range from $77,000 to $140,000 per year
• Full-time position (30 hours or more)
