About the Role

Shields Health Solutions is seeking a Data Analyst to join the Financial Analytics team, reporting to the Manager of Financial Analytics. The role involves developing dashboards and reports to provide organizational insights, partnering with department heads, and recommending process improvements. Key Responsibilities

Perform weekly and monthly reporting updates, ensuring data quality and availability
Develop and maintain Tableau dashboards and Excel reports
Partner with functional leaders to identify opportunities to improve organizational efficiency
Proactively suggest enhancements to existing reports, metrics, and analyses to measure and track business performance
Assist in developing automated reporting processes to streamline analysis
Become a subject matter expert and make recommendations to improve tracking of information necessary to drive business results
Develop and maintain technical documentation related to systems, reporting, or data
Troubleshoot reporting and process issues, test, and collaborate with business teams to resolve issues
Support team and organizational goals as needed

Requirements

2+ years of experience as a data or business intelligence analyst, developer, or engineer
2+ years of experience developing dashboards, reports, and data processes using Tableau and Tableau Prep
Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
Experience in communicating insights and technical processes to non-technical and executive audiences
Must be highly motivated, results-driven, and possess an entrepreneurial attitude
Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and a methodical approach
Effective multi-tasking abilities and a collaborative problem-solving mindset
Customer service orientation, flexibility, and adaptability
Experience with Python and R is a plus
Bachelor's Degree in STEM, finance, business administration, or computer science required; advanced degree is a plus
