Data Analyst

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Work on a wide range of different analytical projects across various teams in the company.
• Enhance data pipelines with DBT and support the Analytics Engineering team by making data accessible in Domo / Looker with a semantic layer.
• Proactively analyze data to solve business challenges using insights from quantitative data sources.
• Empower other teams and analyst ambassadors with tools to understand and analyze their core metrics.
• Prioritize data requests and perform analyses on key issues to support various teams at Protolabs.
• Set up, maintain, and improve dashboards used throughout the organization.
• Collaborate with different teams to ensure the quality and stability of data used for core metrics.
• Engage with the international data/analytics team to foster a collaborative environment.

Requirements

• 2-5 years of experience in Data Analytics within a tech scale-up environment.
• Strong academic background, preferably with a quantitative Masters degree.
• Proficiency in SQL; Python skills considered a plus.
• Experience with at least one BI tool such as Looker, Domo, Tableau, or PowerBI.
• Ability to analyze and interpret data to solve business problems.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills.

Nice to Have

• Experience with CRM systems like Salesforce, Hubspot, or Data Cloud.
• Ambition or experience in advanced analytics and predictive modeling.

Qualifications

• Legal eligibility to work in the U.S., including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, or refugees/asylees.
• Educational background with a focus on quantitative fields is preferred.
