Key Responsibilities

Collect, analyze, and interpret Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) data to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to monitor EHS performance metrics across the company.
Collaborate with EHS team members to identify data needs and ensure data accuracy.
Provide data-driven recommendations to improve EHS processes and compliance.
Support the development and implementation of EHS initiatives through data analysis.
Ensure data integrity and confidentiality in all data handling processes.
Partner with IT and engineering teams to build and maintain mature data ecosystems.

Requirements

Typically, a bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Environmental Science, or a related field.
Foundational knowledge of data analysis concepts and techniques.
At least one year of experience with data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, Python, and data visualization software like Power BI.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to communicate data insights to non-technical stakeholders.
Willingness to learn and adapt to new data management systems and databases.
Must live local to the Buffalo, NY area to work on-site; relocation assistance is not available.
US citizenship is required due to data access.

Nice to Have

Experience with environmental health and safety data is a plus.
Knowledge of data ecosystems and collaboration with IT and engineering teams.

Qualifications

Educational background with a bachelor's degree in relevant fields such as Data Science, Statistics, or Environmental Science.
