Key Responsibilities

  • Collect, analyze, and interpret Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) data to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to monitor EHS performance metrics across the company.
  • Collaborate with EHS team members to identify data needs and ensure data accuracy.
  • Provide data-driven recommendations to improve EHS processes and compliance.
  • Support the development and implementation of EHS initiatives through data analysis.
  • Ensure data integrity and confidentiality in all data handling processes.
  • Partner with IT and engineering teams to build and maintain mature data ecosystems.

Requirements

  • Typically, a bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Environmental Science, or a related field.
  • Foundational knowledge of data analysis concepts and techniques.
  • At least one year of experience with data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, Python, and data visualization software like Power BI.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to communicate data insights to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new data management systems and databases.
  • Must live local to the Buffalo, NY area to work on-site; relocation assistance is not available.
  • US citizenship is required due to data access.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with environmental health and safety data is a plus.
  • Knowledge of data ecosystems and collaboration with IT and engineering teams.

Qualifications

  • Educational background with a bachelor's degree in relevant fields such as Data Science, Statistics, or Environmental Science.
