About the Role

The Data Analyst is responsible for coordinating changes to computer databases, testing, and implementing databases using expertise in database management systems. This role works closely with senior management and technical teams to determine data requirements, implement data strategies, and deliver insights through advanced analysis, ETL processes, and data visualization tools.

Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with senior management, technical, and client teams to determine data requirements and implement business data strategies
Write and code logical and physical database descriptions, and direct others in database schema design
Design, implement, automate, and maintain large-scale enterprise ETL processes
Modify existing databases and database management systems as needed
Test databases and programs, correct errors, and implement necessary modifications
Analyze data to support data-driven decision-making

Requirements

0-2 years of experience in a data analyst or similar role
Experience with database technologies and strong SQL skills
Knowledge of ETL processes and tools
Familiarity with at least one scripting language (e.g., Python, Shell)
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Solid problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
Demonstrated interest in data analysis and business intelligence
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field

Nice to Have

Experience with big data tools in a cloud environment, especially Azure Databricks
Hands-on experience with Power BI and Cognos visualization tools (Power BI Pro experience is a plus)
Agile development experience
Advanced SQL query writing and optimization
