About the Role

Shields Health Solutions is seeking a Data Analyst to join the Financial Analytics team, reporting to the Manager of Financial Analytics. The role involves developing and maintaining dashboards and reports through Tableau and Excel to provide organizational insights. Key Responsibilities

Perform weekly and monthly reporting updates, ensuring data quality and availability
Develop and maintain Tableau dashboards and Excel reports
Partner with functional leaders to identify opportunities for organizational efficiency improvements
Proactively suggest enhancements to existing reports, metrics, and analyses to measure and track business performance
Assist in developing automated reporting processes to streamline analysis
Become a subject matter expert and make recommendations to improve tracking of information for business results
Develop and maintain technical documentation related to systems, reporting, or data
Troubleshoot reporting and process issues, test solutions, and collaborate with the business to resolve issues
Support team and organizational goals as needed

Requirements

2+ years of experience as a data or business intelligence analyst, developer, or engineer
2+ years of experience developing dashboards, reports, and data processes using Tableau and Tableau Prep
Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
Experience in owning reporting products and driving development projects
Strong communication skills to convey insights to non-technical and executive audiences
Highly analytical with strong attention to detail and a methodical approach
Effective multi-tasking skills and ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
Customer service oriented, flexible, and adaptable with problem-solving skills
Experience with Python and R is a plus
Bachelor's Degree in STEM, finance, business administration, or computer science required; advanced degree is a plus
