About the Role

The Data Analyst Lead will be responsible for leading a team in implementing a cutting-edge software system that transforms financial and logistical management for USTRANSCOM. The role involves managing data migration, cleansing, and integration from legacy systems, analyzing complex datasets, and supporting decision-making processes within a government or defense sector environment. The position offers an opportunity to leverage technology to enhance transparency and operational efficiency, contributing to national security initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Lead a team of data analysts in the migration, cleansing, and integration of data from multiple legacy systems
Develop and implement data quality standards and processes
Analyze complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights to support decision-making
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data integrity throughout the ERP implementation
Create comprehensive reports and dashboards for stakeholders
Lead and mentor team members and provide technical guidance

Requirements

Secret security clearance or ability to obtain/maintain Secret clearance
12+ years of experience in data analysis, preferably in government or defense sectors
Extensive experience with ERP systems, particularly in implementation and data migration
Strong knowledge of data modeling, ETL processes, and database management
Proficiency in SQL, Python, and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
Experience with large-scale data migration projects
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively to executive-level positions
Familiarity with DoD logistics systems is highly desirable
Bachelor's degree in information systems, engineering, operations research, or a related field

Nice to Have

PMI PgMP/PMP certification
Agile certification (SAFe) and experience working in an Agile environment
Six Sigma lean certification
SAP expertise (public sector/DoD preferred)
Direct experience with commercial and Federal supply chain best practices

Bachelor's degree in information systems, engineering, operations research, or a related field
