About the Role

Apex Systems is hiring for a Senior Data Analyst for a major Healthcare company. The role involves working on expanding the Service Fund (VBC) to incorporate new sources, enhance functionality, and support the existing application. This is a 6-month contract with potential to extend or convert, fully remote, with preferred work zones in EST, CST, or MST. The position requires authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with data engineers to ensure data pipelines are accurate and efficient.
Extract, clean, and validate large datasets from multiple sources such as SQL databases, APIs, and cloud platforms.
Maintain data integrity and ensure consistency across reporting systems.
Perform exploratory data analysis to identify patterns and anomalies.

Requirements

A Bachelor's degree in a quantitative or business field (e.g., statistics, mathematics, engineering, computer science).
4 to 6 years of related experience.
Experience with one or more of the following: Big Data, Data Processing, Data Manipulation, Data Mining.
Technical skills in C#, Java, Python, SQL, and programming concepts and tools.
Soft skills including the ability to work independently, analytical skills, project management skills, high accuracy, and good judgment.

Nice to Have

Experience with Agile software development.

Qualifications

Formal education in a relevant field (implied by Bachelor's degree requirement).
Experience with data extraction, cleaning, and validation from multiple sources.
