About the Role

The Vanguard Group, Inc. is seeking a Data Analyst, Specialist to deliver complex quantitative analysis through data wrangling using SQL and Python, perform analysis on large datasets to surface trends, develop KPIs, and build dashboards and reports to keep business stakeholders updated on critical metrics. The role involves acquiring and verifying data quality, designing experiments, developing measurement plans, and testing hypotheses. The position operates on a hybrid model with three days in the office and two days remote.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver complex quantitative analysis through data wrangling using SQL and Python.
Perform analysis on large datasets to surface trends and report on metrics using advanced analytical methods.
Develop Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and build dashboards and reports using Tableau or PowerBI.
Keep business stakeholders updated on trends for critical metrics.
Develop, own, and manage recurring analytic and reporting processes.
Acquire and compile structured and unstructured data and verify its quality, accuracy, and reasonableness.
Design experiments, develop measurement plans, and test hypotheses.

Requirements

Master's degree in a Quantitative field including Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Data Science, or a closely related field.
At least 2 years of experience in a relevant job or IT position such as Data Analyst, Data Reporting Analyst, Reporting Analyst, or Business Analyst.
