Data Analytics Associate

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for data collection, input, aggregation, and data auditing.
• Support accurate key metric reporting and data review performed by the organization.
• Review the accuracy of information provided and respond to requests from management and vendors.
• Assist in generating basic reports and data dashboards and associated assets including scripts, tables, workflows, and supporting processes in accordance with team standards.
• Use SQL and other scripting languages to develop and maintain queries that pull and curate data from multiple sources.
• Create ad-hoc presentations and assess development for review. Respond to information requests in a timely manner.
• Gather and analyze data to identify and solve complex problems that arise with little or no precedent.
• Collaborate with the agile development team to provide recommendations and communications on enhancing existing or new processes and programs.
• Suggest improvements to existing processes and solutions to improve the efficiency of the team.
• Develop and maintain data models, data automation systems, low-code solutions, dashboards, and performance metrics support.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their data needs and provide analytical support.
• Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED with 3-4 years of job-related experience.
• Experience with SQL, data visualization tools, ETL pipelines, and database management systems.
• Programming skills used for data analysis and evaluation tasks.
• Advanced math skills, including the ability to calculate percentages, discounts, and markups.
• A comprehensive understanding of processes, procedures, systems, and concepts within one's own ability to evaluate and communicate complex content.
• Experience with data visualization tools and techniques.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, Outlook.
• Familiarity with Google Workspace applications such as Gmail, Google Calendar, Google Docs, Google Sheets.
• Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship.

Nice to Have

• Experience with data automation systems and low-code solutions.
• Experience working in an agile development environment.
