About the Role

The Applied Learning Internship Program provides on-the-job experiential learning, exposure to numerous business leaders and functions, and formal educational opportunities to students within the Consumer-Packaged Goods and Beverage (CPGB) industry. Interns work on function-specific business projects throughout the duration of the program with the support and guidance of their manager. Interns gain a broader understanding of the business and CPGB industry through guest speakers, customer field experiences, facility tours, and individual / team-based experiences. Additionally, interns participate as a cohort in leadership development workshops aimed at developing professional skill sets. This is a part-time paid opportunity with potential to convert to a full-time role upon graduation based on performance and business needs.

Key Responsibilities

Gains exposure to business leaders representing functions such as Sales Operations, Customer Management, Warehouse, Product Supply Planning, Human Resources, Finance, and Marketing
Performs day-to-day responsibilities in assigned role to gain experience, develop business acumen, and support project work and recommendations
Performs quantitative and qualitative analysis in the assigned functional area to support business projects and objectives
Prepares and presents project work and recommendations to business leaders at the conclusion of the program
Participates in instructor-led and online learning, intern leadership development workshops, and off-site customer field experiences

Requirements

High school diploma
Currently enrolled rising Sophomore, Junior, or Senior pursuing an undergraduate degree from an accredited college or university
Proficient skills using Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
General understanding of data analysis techniques
Ability to collaborate, communicate, and develop relationships of trust
Asks questions to understand issues from multiple angles and proposes creative solutions
Takes initiative to contribute or positively affect change
Prioritizes responsibilities and manages time effectively
Receives and applies feedback to improve work and performance
