Data & Reporting Analyst

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the migration of legacy Microsoft Access databases to SQL Server, including data modeling, transformation, and validation.
• Develop and maintain reports using Tableau, Crystal Reports, and Microsoft Access.
• Write and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and scripts for data extraction and transformation.
• Use SAS, SQL, and/or Python for advanced data manipulation and automation tasks.
• Provide production support for existing reporting and data solutions, ensuring data accuracy and timely delivery.
• Collaborate with business analysts and product owners to understand reporting needs and deliver actionable insights.
• Document processes, data flows, and technical specifications.

Requirements

• Bachelors degree with a minimum of 2 years of experience as a data analyst or SQL/reporting developer.
• Experience with Microsoft Access, including forms, queries, and VBA.
• Experienced using SAS, Python, and/or SQL for data transformation.
• Experience developing reports and BI tools with SSRS, Crystal Reports, and Tableau.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience supporting production environments and resolving data/reporting issues.

Nice to Have

• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Background in banking, finance, or commercial lending operations.
• Familiarity with loan servicing systems, financial data, or regulatory reporting.
• Experience with ETL processes and data warehousing concepts.

Qualifications
