About the Role

Gain hands-on experience in business intelligence, data visualization, and analytics through an internship with Opry Entertainment Group (OEG). Receive mentorship and guidance from experienced data professionals while contributing to meaningful projects that impact real-world business decisions. Work closely with cross-functional teams to develop reports and dashboards, analyze data, and provide insights and understanding of our customers that drive decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in creating and maintaining Power BI dashboards and reports to visualize key performance metrics.
Collaborate with team members to collect, prepare, and analyze datasets.
Ensure the accuracy and reliability of data presented in reports.
Identify trends, patterns, and insights from large datasets.
Support ongoing projects by automating data processes and optimizing reporting pipelines.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Power BI solutions.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Enrollment in academic/college credit in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Business Analytics, or a related field.
Familiarity with Power BI and its features, including DAX, Power Query, and report creation.
Strong communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Basic understanding of data modeling concepts and relational databases.
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
