Key Responsibilities

Define and lead the end-to-end data migration strategy from legacy systems (e.g., AX 2009) to Dynamics 365 CE & F&O.
Design and implement data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL/ELT) pipelines using Azure Data Factory and Informatica.
Ensure data quality, consistency, and completeness across all migrated datasets.
Design and implement enterprise data models aligned with the Databricks Medallion architecture, including Bronze, Silver, and Gold layers.
Define data lineage, metadata, and governance standards using Unity Catalog and Azure Purview.
Support real-time and batch data ingestion from diverse sources including APIs, flat files, FTP/SFTP sources, Azure Event Hub, Logic Apps, and Function Apps.
Enable data synchronization with Dynamics 365 and downstream systems via APIs and Dataverse.
Collaborate with enterprise architects, data engineers, and business analysts to align data models with business needs.
Establish data validation, reconciliation, and exception handling frameworks.
Participate in data governance forums and ensure compliance with security and privacy standards.

Requirements

10+ years of experience in data architecture, data migration, and enterprise data modeling.
Proficiency with Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Delta Lake, and Informatica ETL tools.
Experience with data modeling techniques such as star/snowflake schemas and dimensional modeling.
Knowledge of Dynamics 365 CE & F&O data structures and legacy system migrations (e.g., AX 2009).
Familiarity with Medallion architecture and modern data lakehouse patterns.
Experience with Unity Catalog, Azure Purview, and data governance frameworks.
Understanding of CI/CD pipelines for data workflows using Azure DevOps.

Nice to Have

Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer Associate or equivalent.
Experience with Unity Catalog, Azure Purview, and data governance frameworks.
