Data Engineer III

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Develop a strong understanding of Fan Ecosystem and the various business units it supports
• Lead initiatives to support building data-centric processes to benefit the organization and its business units
• Build data objects and assets to support business intelligence and data science use cases
• Set a high standard for engineering excellence through example
• Contribute to hiring and training other engineering team members
• Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, inside and outside of Engineering
• Ability to deliver service and data integrations between different teams and third parties
• Must be open to occasional travel to Fanatics offices and other locations for conferences, events, meetings, and team building activities

Requirements

• Strong technical skills, both functional and non-functional, in a continuous delivery environment
• Demonstrated ability to partner closely with analysts, product managers, and other engineers
• Experience in large-scale cloud databases, data transformation, and performance optimization
• Experience with modern tech stack and languages (python, SQL, SQS, Snowflake, S3, SFTP, dbt, Airflow)
• Positive and flexible attitude to work in a fast-paced environment and a willingness to embrace new initiatives and technologies
• Strong communication skills with the ability to represent complex topics in a succinct way
• Experience working within AWS environment and Snowflake (nice to have)

Qualifications

Benefits & Perks

• Salary range of $133,920 to $193,750, which includes base pay and may include incentive compensation
• Consideration of location, experience, qualifications, and training in final compensation package
