As a Data Engineer within PNC's Asset Management organization, you will be remotely based in the West Virginia market. This is a remote position. Work may be performed from a quiet, confidential space in a home location, approved by PNC. This position may not be available in all geographic locations. PNC will not provide sponsorship for employment visas or participate in STEM OPT for this position.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop data warehouse architecture and ETL pipelines to ingest, transform, and store data.
  • Manage and maintain Oracle Databases, including schema design, indexing, partitioning, and performance tuning.
  • Ensure data quality, consistency, and security across all data layers.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve data related issues and provide root-cause analysis.
  • Monitor daily ETL jobs, implement error handling mechanisms, and ensure timely data delivery.
  • Develop, support, and implement data services for multiple applications to meet business objectives and user requirements.
  • Work closely with users, developers, operations, and business partners to define data service requirements and data preparation processes.
  • Design and build data service infrastructure on multiple data platforms according to key business processes and workflows.
  • Develop and implement scalable, available, and maintainable data solutions.
  • Implement data migration and transformation activities/processes to ensure data accuracy and security.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of relevant industry experience or a comparable combination of education, certifications, and experience.
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Knowledge of data warehouse architecture, ETL pipelines, and data management.
  • Experience with Oracle databases, including schema design, indexing, partitioning, and performance tuning.
  • Ability to troubleshoot data issues and perform root-cause analysis.
  • Strong understanding of data quality, security, and consistency principles.
  • Familiarity with data services development and infrastructure design.
  • Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication skills.

Qualifications

  • University/college degree (Bachelor's preferred).
  • 3+ years of relevant work experience.
