About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and deploy Data Catalogues through Metadata & Metrics to support Data Governance initiatives.
• Support Data Integrity efforts across Transformations and Reference Table Management.
• Translate critical data into usable Metrics, Transformation, and Metadata catalog supports.
• Partner with Business Insights & Performance teams, Operations, Risk/Compliance, and other stakeholders to support data governance practices.
• Apply Business Intelligence visualization tools and data implementation approaches to gather requirements and understand Metrics to Metadata lineage.
• Leverage Enterprise Data Governance tools to ensure data quality, lineage, and compliance.
• Operate independently within a capabilities-focused, matrixed organization and assess business needs to recommend solutions.
• Understand technical and business metadata & metrics leveraging Oracle SQL, Microsoft SQL, and IBM SQL.
• Continuously improve data governance processes and strategies for both on-premise and cloud solutions.
• Communicate effectively across Risk, Technical, and Business partners, and hold teams accountable for data governance standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• Two to three years of experience in data governance activities.
• Strong technical/functional understanding of internal and vendor-supported systems.
• Experience with complex data backend systems leveraging Oracle SQL, Microsoft SQL, and IBM SQL.
• Demonstrated self-driven continuous improvement mindset.
• Ability to assess business needs and recommend approaches for short-term and long-term success.
• Strong problem-solving skills and data analytics background.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of Data Governance principles and data architecture concepts.
• Familiarity with data governance tooling and metadata management.
