About the Role

The Senior Analyst position will report to the Clinical Systems Manager and assist with the operational responsibilities of the department as well as having the responsibilities of a technical analyst. As a Senior member of the Information Technology (IT) team, involved in all aspects of providing oversight, coordination and operational delivery of the healthcare information technology for The Christ Hospital (TCH), this role exercises discretion and independent judgment to lead the selection, development, implementation and adoption of advanced technical systems of TCH. This is accomplished by positive and efficient interaction with TCH staff, team mates, and technical representatives from outside vendors, as well as a thorough technical understanding of the application(s). The individual must be able to work autonomously while concurrently building technical and best practice process linkages to ensure TCH maintains leadership in Patient Safety, Quality, and Cost Effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities

Assist with operational responsibilities of the department and support technical analysis.
Lead the selection, development, implementation, and adoption of advanced technical systems for TCH.
Interact positively and efficiently with TCH staff, team members, and external vendors.
Support analysts through mentoring, department meetings, and ongoing communications.
Manage upgrades, projects, enhancements, and break-fix solutions.
Develop, support, and maintain documentation, policies, and procedures.

Requirements

Associate/Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; preferred major or experience in Information Technology, Business Administration, or Healthcare.
Three to five years of experience in Information Technology; healthcare environment preferred.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and listening skills.
Ability to technically support applicable applications.
Ability to handle multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
Ability to identify opportunities to improve performance of existing systems and processes.
Obtain certification in the application being supported.
