About the Role

The Data Integration Engineer plays a key technical role in supporting and enhancing the enterprise data warehouse using the Informatica Data Management Cloud (IDMC). This role focuses on designing, building, and maintaining data integration components critical to the data architecture, with a preference for onsite work three days per week in Andover, MA.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and implement data integration solutions on IDMC.
Define integration requirements and resolve JIRA tickets within Agile sprints.
Develop and maintain connectors, workflows, mappings, and related ETL assets.
Review and author functional and mapping specifications.
Perform unit testing, debugging, and error resolution.
Optimize performance of data pipelines and processes.
Support QA efforts through peer reviews and mentorship.
Monitor IDMC environments, troubleshoot job/service issues, and assess impact.
Collaborate with the cloud support team to enhance monitoring and system performance.
Lead efforts in software upgrades, patching, and IDMC feature adoption.
Document system infrastructure, ETL processes, and data architecture.
Participate in and enhance Data Lifecycle Management and change management processes.
Provide operational reporting and resource utilization metrics.

Requirements

Expertise in Informatica IDMC development and administration.
Strong knowledge of DevOps practices.
Proven analytical skills in troubleshooting performance and integration issues.
Experience with SOX compliance, audit processes, and disaster recovery / business continuity.
Familiarity with Agile project environments and JIRA workflows.

Nice to Have

Prior experience with enterprise data warehouses and cloud-based data integration platforms.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Willingness to be trained in advanced IDMC Data Engineering and Integration.
