Data Intelligence Analyst - Remote

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Implement new trading partner data files by performing initial evaluation and mapping of new trading partner data feeds.
• Analyze raw inbound trading partner test files of various non-standard formats and create initial data mappings to ensure successful ingestion.
• Utilize ConnectCenter, Availity, and other portals to validate member data and plan types from new trading partner files.
• Join calls and send emails to address questions about new trading partner data and complete initial mapping processes.
• Document the new trading partner's Confluence page showing how inbound raw data is mapped to standardized formats.
• Create data crosswalk tables in Confluence for critical data such as relationship codes and coverage plan types.
• Troubleshoot issues reported with existing trading partner data files by analyzing data discrepancies and workflows.
• Review inbound trading partner data and crosswalks using SQL to verify data accuracy.
• Compare inbound data and standardized data to documentation to identify issues related to raw data or mapping errors.
• Use PowerBI, Power Query, and other analytical tools to determine scope of issues and perform deeper analysis.
• Communicate questions and solutions to stakeholders to ensure understanding and resolution of data issues.
• Create Aha Ideas for escalation to IT if changes are needed by developers.
• Create carrier edits by analyzing trading partner data for patterns to generate leads for non-trading partner payers.
• Verify member coverage data through portals and create new leads based on analysis and eligibility verification.

Requirements

• 3+ years of electronic claim, remittance, or eligibility file experience.
• 2+ years of SQL experience.
• 2+ years of data mapping experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office365 applications.
• Experience with analyzing raw data files and creating data mappings.
• Ability to troubleshoot data issues and analyze data discrepancies.
• Strong communication skills for stakeholder engagement.

Nice to Have

• 2 years utilizing PowerBI and/or Power Query.
• Experience with AWS and Athena.
• Proven excellent written and spoken interpersonal communication skills.
• Proven ability to react quickly with purpose to advance objectives while maintaining professional tone and demeanor.
