Job Description

About the Role

The Database Marketing Manager is responsible for the successful execution of Marketing Campaigns, including campaign build, list generation, program build, execution, and reporting. Ensures the integrity of the Live! player tracking databases. Analyzes trends and KPIs in customer behaviors and spend throughout the property to make strategic recommendations on sales, marketing, and customer service strategies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing all elements of campaigns: segmentation, creative, proofing, internal and external communication, reporting, etc.
  • Ensuring the integrity of the CMS database for accuracy and protection of proprietary guest and gaming data.
  • Monitoring database health and campaign-specific KPIs.
  • Serving as the Marketing Subject Matter Expert for Customer Interaction Manager (CIM) and working knowledge of systems such as Aristocrat - Oasis 360, MGT - Promo Suite, and Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW).
  • Managing Direct Mail program Proformas and Postformas.
  • Managing Teradata EDW and CIM business rules to support campaign strategy and execution, collaborating with Teradata Development team.
  • Determining Direct Mail budgets (OPEX, CAPEX, Free Play) including forecasting, reconciling, and purchasing requisitions.
  • Managing Assistant Database Manager, Database Analysts, or similar roles.
  • Working closely with Digital Marketing Manager to coordinate and execute Email Campaigns as part of CIM campaigns.
  • Developing and managing regularly scheduled reports.
  • Carrying out managerial responsibilities in accordance with organizational policies and applicable laws.
  • Coordinating with internal departments, external vendors, and agencies.
  • Executing A/B testing plans set forth by the Director of Database Marketing.
  • Assisting with establishing, updating, and ensuring compliance with departmental internal controls, policies, procedures, and regulations.
  • Responding to guest inquiries through multiple inbound channels in a timely manner.

Requirements

  • A 4-year degree in a related field such as Business Administration, Computer Science, Mathematics, Marketing, or Data Analytics.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience in Database Marketing.
  • Minimum of two (2) years in a managerial role overseeing people and processes.
  • Experience in database structures and creating queries.
  • SQL experience is a plus.
  • Ability to comply with all state gaming regulations, which may include obtaining a license.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods, reach for objects at short distances, sit for 60% of the time, occasionally lift up to 50 lbs, and use stairs and elevators.
