About the Role

Toyota's Point of Sales of Insurance Department is seeking a passionate and highly motivated Dealer Program Consultant to collaborate with Toyota Motor North America (TMNA) and Toyota Financial Services (TFS). The role involves strengthening the TIMS brand, educating facing counterparts, sharing the TIMS Product message, and increasing TIMS Insurance Products sales. Key Responsibilities

  • Work with Dealer Acquisition & Sales Director to present the Partnership Referral program to Dealer management and convince them to join the Toyota Insurance Partners Program.
  • Lead full go-to-market process for Dealer partners and provide sustainment support post-launch including Partnership Agreements, internal systems set up, marketing materials delivery and installation, Dealer staff training, and payment processing.
  • Review Referral program performance with Dealer Acquisition & Sales Director to directly improve and achieve referral lead and sales KPI targets.
  • Work collaboratively with Product Development & Digital Director and Marketing Sr. Manager to continuously improve Referral program performance.
  • Develop Dealer proformas to establish KPIs and review performance reports with Dealer partners to develop action plans for improvements.
  • Coordinate efforts with Marketing to produce, distribute, and implement marketing materials.
  • Actively contact Dealer partners weekly to provide support and gather insights for program improvements.
  • Enroll, launch, and maintain Dealer partners, creating SOPs, action plans, and communication tools.
  • Ensure marketing tools are launched and utilized at all dealer locations.
  • Travel to Dealer Partners to pitch, launch, and support Dealer partners.
  • Maximize Dealer engagement with Marketing Kit and coach Dealers to meet minimum sales targets.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to drive performance and revenue for dealer agencies.
  • Access performance data sources to research Referral program performance and create best practices and reference tools.
  • Review Monthly Dealer Program Reports and provide insights and recommendations.
  • Manage Dealer partner payment processes.
  • Stay up to date on Insurance Industry and Carrier Trends.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of relevant work experience in marketing with digital marketing experience.
  • 3-5 years of experience in an insurance agency or similar experience.
  • Associate two-year college degree required.
  • Ability to travel 50%-70% of the time.
  • Strong organizational and management skills.
  • Strong verbal, written, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with internal and external teams.
  • Ability to build relationships with a broad audience both internal and external to Toyota.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office applications (PowerPoint, Word, etc.).
  • Working knowledge of Salesforce.
  • Ability to create and communicate action plans and SOPs.
  • Ability to develop sales strategies and analyze performance data.

Nice to Have

  • Four-year college degree (BA or BS) preferred.
  • Active Insurance Property & Casualty License.
  • Automotive Dealership experience.
