About the Role

Under some supervision, the Lead Business Analytics Associate is primarily responsible for the formulation of hypotheses, translation of data, design/measurement of experiments and generation of insights to inform business decisions by using various data mining techniques. The role involves performing diagnostic analyses to answer questions such as 'Why did it happen?' and 'What action can I take?', identifying trends and outliers, and collaborating with analytics teams and business partners to provide solutions and recommendations. Success criteria include leveraging business acumen, developing client-ready work products, and telling compelling stories with data.

Key Responsibilities

Analyze, identify, and recommend appropriate solutions to moderately complex problems
Translate data into insights and answer the 'why' question
Develop 'client ready' work product
Proactively communicate with business partners and ask the right questions to understand analytics needs
Use visualizations to tell a compelling story with data and information
May guide or monitor the work of others

Requirements

Bachelor's degree (or its equivalent) and 2 years minimum of relevant experience; 1 year with Master's or PhD
Proficient in Microsoft Excel / PowerPoint and query writing/coding with ability to perform queries of large datasets
Developing data visualization skill set
Ability to learn the process of consuming data from the data supply chain
Building knowledge / experience with analytical programming languages

Nice to Have

Emerging presentation development and delivery skills
Experience with analytical programming languages

Qualifications

Relevant experience in data analysis or related field
Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and query writing
Developing data visualization skills
Knowledge of analytical programming languages

Benefits & Perks

Eligibility for a base salary in the range of $71,000 to $115,000 annually depending on location and experience
Eligibility for short-term incentive compensation and deferred incentive compensation based on performance
