Digital Content Specialist, Nursing Health Education

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Plans digital content development and delivery cadence.
• Plays a key role in stand-up meetings with internal and external content development partners.
• Ensures lead and peer review SMEs are delivering work products per schedule.
• Identifies potential issues with SMEs and works with the Digital Content Manager to find alternative approaches to mitigate risks.
• Manages and consolidates reviews from SMEs, queries SMEs and outsourced vendors to ensure quality and on-time content delivery.
• Works with internal team to develop and/or suggests improvements for existing writing, assessment, and instructional design guidelines.
• Performs high-level review of all stages of outlines, assessments, and content storyboards and coordinates detailed review.
• Coordinates with other participants and/or drives permission and art research as needed.
• Coordinates classification mapping, EAQ, and ancillary mapping tasks with internal and external resources.
• Coordinates delivery of build content, oversees UAT fixes, and ensures gold delivery of assigned course products.
• Plays a key role in ensuring on-time delivery of digital content projects.

Requirements

• Have a B.A./B.S. in English or related area.
• Have two or more years' experience with digital content development.
• Demonstrate experience with media such as online courses and multimedia.
• Be a self-starter with strong organizational, interpersonal, and written communication skills.
• Possess a flexible and creative approach to problem solving.
• Be resourceful and decisive, with attention to detail.
• Be able to work independently and manage several complex projects simultaneously.
• Have knowledge of publishing processes and MS Office; some familiarity with EPUB, HTML5, HTML, and XML.
• Ability to foresee and avert problems and manage SMEs professionally.

Nice to Have

• Experience with authoring tools and digital content workflows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in English or related field.
• Minimum of two years' experience in digital content development.
