Digital Executive Producer

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the entire project lifecycle for digital projects including strategy, websites, e-commerce, videos, systems, and products.
• Define project scope of work, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with clients and internal teams.
• Develop and manage project plans, timelines, budgets, and daily tasks to ensure on-time and within-budget delivery.
• Allocate and manage project resources including producers, designers, developers, QA specialists, and external resources.
• Identify and assess potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Facilitate clear and consistent communication between clients, internal teams, and stakeholders.
• Ensure projects meet quality standards and client expectations.
• Drive process optimization and contribute to the development of project management best practices.
• Manage client expectations, build and maintain strong client relationships, and serve as a point of escalation.
• Manage new business opportunities, establish project scopes, and develop approaches for new engagements.
• Oversee project financials including estimates, budget tracking, and revenue management.
• Mentor junior team members and oversee large interactive projects with multiple sub-projects.

Requirements

• Located in the San Diego area with a hybrid work schedule or residing in PST/MST time zones within the U.S. and working remotely.
• 10+ years of proven experience as a Project Manager in a creative agency setting.
• Solid understanding of the project lifecycle and Agile methodologies.
• Experience managing digital projects such as websites, e-commerce, and system designs.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
• Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize.
• Proficiency in project management tools such as Jira, Trello, Asana, ClickUp.
• Ability to manage client expectations, multiple demands, and competing priorities.
• Experience in managing project scope, financials, and risk mitigation.
• Deep digital experience and understanding of project management best practices.
• Natural leadership skills and ability to mentor junior team members.
• Ability to oversee large projects with interrelated sub-projects.

Nice to Have

• Proficiency in Slack, Harvest/Forecast, Google Suite, Smartsheets.
