Digital Marketing Intern

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Assists in collecting and analyzing marketing data from various digital channels, including social media, SEO, and website performance.
• Generates reports and surfaces actionable insights to enhance digital experience across owned channels.
• Conducts market research to identify trends, customer behaviors, and competitive insights.
• Supports the marketing team in designing and executing data-driven marketing and personalization strategies.
• Collaborates with cross-functional teams to implement customer experience objectives and sources data to support the effort.
• Presents findings and insights to the marketing team to inform decision-making.
• Performs ad-hoc analysis and reporting as needed.
• Completes project and support tasks with guidance from mentor and department leader.
• Collaborates with fellow interns across departments on strategic, cross-functional initiatives that drive meaningful business impact.
• Performs other related work as assigned.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Business Analytics, Economics, or a related field.
• Experience with Google Analytics, SEO tools, and social media analytics platforms.
• Familiarity with statistical analysis software (e.g., R, SPSS, SAS) or programming languages (e.g., Python).
• Previous internship or project experience in marketing or data analysis.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to build strong relationships with internal and external partners.
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions.
• Ability to prioritize requests and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Results-driven with a sense of urgency.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with data presentation.
• Basic understanding of digital marketing channels and relevant metrics.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Nice to Have
