Digital Marketing Manager

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive digital marketing strategies to enhance brand visibility and attract new customers, analyzing market trends and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities.
• Create engaging and informative content for digital platforms including websites, blogs, social media, and email newsletters, collaborating with creative teams for high-quality graphics, videos, and collateral.
• Optimize website content for search engines through keyword research and on-page and off-page SEO strategies to improve search rankings and increase organic traffic.
• Manage and grow the company's social media presence across platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and LinkedIn, creating and scheduling posts, responding to inquiries, and monitoring trends.
• Develop and oversee digital advertising campaigns including Google Ads, social media ads, and display advertising, analyzing performance metrics and adjusting strategies to maximize ROI.
• Design and execute targeted email marketing campaigns to nurture leads and retain customers, analyzing performance metrics for optimization.
• Utilize analytics tools like Google Analytics and social media insights to track, report, and provide insights on digital marketing performance to the team and senior management.
• Collaborate with sales, customer service, product teams, and external agencies to ensure marketing initiatives align with business objectives.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field (Master's degree a plus) or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 6 years of progressive marketing experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership or people-management role.
• Experience in the energy or electricity sector, preferably with REPs or ERCOT.
• Agency experience or managing external agency relationships.
• Proven success in developing and executing multi-channel digital campaigns.
• Strong understanding of SEO, website strategy, content management systems, marketing analytics, and social media trends.
• Experience working with legal and regulatory teams and managing compliance in a regulated industry.
• Strategic thinking with a strong grasp of brand development, performance metrics, and customer engagement.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Must reside in the Greater Houston area and be available for required in-office days (hybrid schedule).
