About the Role

The Manager of Digital Marketing plays a pivotal role in advancing the organization's digital presence by leading high-impact digital projects that align with business goals. This position is responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and successful delivery of a wide range of digital initiatives, including website development, mobile applications, and online advertising. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented, innovative, and strategic thinker who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. This role works cross-functionally with designers, developers, marketing specialists, and external vendors to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and at a high standard of quality. Success in this role requires strong communication skills, broad digital knowledge, proven project management experience, and a commitment to continuous improvement. Collaboration and stakeholder engagement are central to the position, with a focus on coordinating cross-team efforts and ensuring alignment with broader business objectives. The primary focus of this role is to elevate the organization's digital effectiveness, optimize online user experiences, and support leasing and marketing efforts through data-driven insights and efficient digital solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the full lifecycle of digital projects including websites, mobile apps, and other marketing platforms.
  • Define scope, goals, timelines, and budgets; establish clear project deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Create and maintain detailed project plans with milestones, dependencies, and critical paths to ensure timely delivery.
  • Coordinate with internal teams, vendors, and external partners to ensure smooth execution and high-quality outcomes.
  • Conduct regular meetings to provide status updates, address issues, and foster transparent communication across teams.
  • Facilitate effective collaboration among content creators, developers, and marketing specialists to align deliverables with business needs.
  • Identify and mitigate potential project risks or roadblocks; proactively develop contingency plans.
  • Monitor project progress using tools and dashboards, adjusting plans as needed to stay aligned with goals.
  • Track project expenses, ensuring alignment with budgets and maximizing cost-efficiency.
  • Research and recommend innovative tools, technologies, and approaches to enhance digital presence and lead generation.
  • Audit and analyze all marketing lead sources to ensure brand consistency and accuracy in phone numbers, email, pricing, and images.
  • Review online presence for multiple properties and provide strategic recommendations for improvement.
  • Collaborate with third-party vendors on website development, troubleshooting, asset delivery, and internal feedback integration.
  • Support regular updates to property websites, ensuring accurate and compelling content including amenities, photos, and business hours.
  • Generate and interpret website performance reports; deliver actionable insights to improve engagement and outcomes.
  • Investigate and resolve marketing-related issues such as integration errors or incorrect online information.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned, demonstrating adaptability and a proactive mindset.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university is preferred.
  • 3-5 years of direct experience managing websites, CMS platforms, or supporting digital/social media marketing initiatives.
  • A minimum of 1 year of supervisory experience required.
  • Proven ability to deliver digital projects on time and within budget.
  • Solid understanding of digital technologies including CMS, web development, mobile applications, and marketing tools.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize, multitask, and adapt to evolving priorities.
  • Detail-oriented, analytical, and comfortable interpreting performance data and resolving issues.
  • Technically savvy: Proficient in Microsoft Office and quick to learn new software/tools.

Nice to Have

  • Experience working with third-party vendors on website development and troubleshooting.
  • Knowledge of online marketing strategies and lead generation techniques.
  • Experience in the real estate or property management industry is a plus.

  • Salary range: $70,000-$80,000/yr, with overall compensation based on factors such as location, skills, education, and experience
