About the Role

The Digital Marketing Manager, Brand & Regional, is a highly seasoned professional role within TD's Brand Media and Organic Social Media team, supporting enterprise brand media plans and awareness initiatives. The role involves developing strategies, managing complex projects, and acting as a subject matter expert in digital, social, and content marketing, primarily focusing on local and regional initiatives to align with TD's evolving regional approach and overall marketing objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the Center of Excellence (COE) and subject matter expert in digital, social, and content marketing, working closely with internal teams and media agency partners.
  • Develop strategies and tactical plans to meet marketing and business objectives, especially for local and regional initiatives.
  • Create overall brand media strategy and ensure plans follow TD's brand guidelines in collaboration with the brand strategy team.
  • Monitor and optimize media campaigns across platforms, including pacing and media buying activities.
  • Serve as the liaison between TD and media agency Zenith, coordinating media plans and measurement strategies.
  • Manage complex and/or high-risk projects, providing internal and external consulting and advisory services.
  • Lead cross-functional teams or projects, managing resources, risks, and complexities.
  • Interpret business challenges, recommend best practices, and develop solutions that align with enterprise strategies.
  • Communicate complex concepts effectively, influencing senior stakeholders and ensuring alignment.
  • Support capability development within the marketing space and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree and/or relevant professional certifications or designations.
  • 7+ years of relevant experience in digital marketing, social media, or related fields.
  • Proficient knowledge of multiple marketing disciplines, strategy development, and industry trends.
  • Experience with media strategy, planning, buying, and execution, including familiarity with media sponsorship negotiations.
  • Proficiency in campaign setup and maintenance in social media platforms (Meta) and search platforms (Google Ads Manager Suite).
  • Ability to manage budgets, lead projects, and exercise sound judgment in decision-making.
  • Effective communication skills, both oral and written, with the ability to influence stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and prioritization skills to meet multiple deadlines.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and independently, handling confidential information with discretion.

Nice to Have

  • Experience managing relationships with media agencies and developing measurement strategies.
  • Proficiency in martech tools and in-platform campaign measurement strategies.
  • Experience developing and executing long-term attribution measurement plans.

Qualifications

  • Formal educational background with an undergraduate degree or equivalent.
  • Relevant professional certifications or designations preferred.
