About the Role

The Digital Marketing Manager, Brand & Regional, sits on the Brand Media and Organic Social Media team within the Brand and Community Marketing organization at TD. The role involves developing and executing enterprise brand media plans, focusing on local and regional initiatives, and acting as a subject matter expert in digital, social, and content marketing. The position requires collaboration with internal teams and external media agencies to ensure alignment with TD's brand guidelines and strategic objectives, supporting the company's growth and customer experience goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the Center of Excellence (COE) and subject matter expert in digital, social, and content marketing within the team.
  • Develop strategies and tactical plans to meet marketing and business objectives, especially for local and regional initiatives.
  • Work closely with media agency partners, project owners, and internal teams to create overall brand media strategies.
  • Monitor and optimize media campaigns across platforms, including pacing and media buying activities.
  • Collaborate with distribution marketing teams to support local/regional/sponsorship plans.
  • Manage complex and/or high-risk projects, campaigns, and initiatives within the digital marketing space.
  • Provide internal and external consulting and advisory services to support marketing capabilities and development.
  • Lead cross-functional teams or projects, managing resources, risks, and complexities.
  • Interpret industry trends and internal challenges to recommend best practices and solutions.
  • Communicate complex concepts effectively, influencing stakeholders and gaining alignment.

Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree and/or relevant professional certifications or designations.
  • 7+ years of relevant experience in marketing, digital media, or related fields.
  • Proficient knowledge of multiple marketing disciplines, including strategy development and consulting principles.
  • Knowledge of current and emerging market trends, competitor landscape, and risk management environment.
  • Ability to manage budgets, plan, implement, and evaluate marketing programs and campaigns.
  • Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Ability to work collaboratively, build relationships, and handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications and digital marketing platforms such as Meta (Facebook Business Manager) and Google Ads Manager.
  • Experience in campaign setup, maintenance, and measurement in social media and search platforms.
  • Ability to analyze, organize, prioritize work, and meet multiple deadlines.

Nice to Have

  • Awareness of media strategy, planning, buying, and execution.
  • Experience with media sponsorship negotiations and evaluations.
  • Agency management experience or working closely with media agencies.
  • Developing and executing long-term measurement and attribution strategies.
  • Understanding of martech space and in-platform campaign measurement.

Qualifications

  • Educational background with an undergraduate degree or equivalent.
  • Relevant professional certifications or designations preferred.
