About the Role

The Digital Marketing Manager, Brand & Regional, sits on the Brand Media and Organic Social Media team within the Brand and Community Marketing organization at TD. The role involves developing strategies, planning, buying, and executing enterprise brand media and awareness plans, primarily focusing on local and regional initiatives. The individual acts as a subject matter expert, working closely with internal teams and media agency partners to meet marketing and business objectives, ensuring brand consistency and leveraging digital, social, and content marketing channels.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the Center of Excellence (COE) and subject matter expert in digital and social media marketing, providing guidance and strategic direction.
  • Develop and implement brand media strategies and tactical plans aligned with TD's brand guidelines and business objectives.
  • Monitor and optimize media campaigns across platforms, including social media and search, ensuring effective pacing and media buying.
  • Collaborate with distribution marketing teams to support local, regional, and sponsorship initiatives.
  • Liaise with media agency Zenith to develop media plans, measurement strategies, and ensure campaign effectiveness.
  • Manage complex and high-risk projects, providing internal and external consulting and advisory services.
  • Lead cross-functional teams or projects, managing resources, risks, and complexities to achieve objectives.
  • Use analytical tools and insights to evaluate campaign performance, attribution, and develop long-term measurement plans.
  • Ensure all marketing activities comply with industry standards, regulations, and internal policies.
  • Support capability development within the marketing space and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree and/or relevant professional certifications or designations.
  • 7+ years of relevant experience in digital, social, and content marketing.
  • Proficient knowledge of marketing strategy development, consulting principles, and industry trends.
  • Experience managing budgets and leading program or project activities.
  • Strong communication skills, both oral and written, with the ability to influence stakeholders.
  • Ability to analyze, organize, prioritize work, and meet multiple deadlines.
  • Proficiency in computer applications including MS Office, social media platforms (Meta), and Google Ads Manager suite.
  • Knowledge of campaign setup, execution, and measurement in digital platforms.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within teams, handling confidential information with discretion.

Nice to Have

  • Awareness of media strategy, planning, buying, and execution.
  • Experience with media sponsorship negotiations and evaluations.
  • Agency management experience or working closely with media agencies.
  • Proficiency in developing and executing long-term measurement and attribution strategies.

Qualifications

  • Educational background including an undergraduate degree or equivalent professional certifications.
  • Experience supporting multiple marketing disciplines and understanding of banking industry and product/customer markets.
