About the Role

The Digital Marketing Manager at Tommy Bahama is responsible for leading digital marketing strategies, managing campaigns, and optimizing performance through AI-powered tools. The role involves collaborating with external agencies, managing budgets, analyzing campaign data, and ensuring cohesive brand messaging across all digital touchpoints to support business growth and objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead campaign planning and submit briefs for all digital marketing campaigns.
  • Define and implement comprehensive digital marketing strategies including SEM, paid social, display advertising, and affiliate marketing.
  • Collaborate closely with external agencies and serve as the main point of contact.
  • Track performance, set clear expectations, provide feedback, and drive continuous optimizations.
  • Manage digital marketing budgets, forecast spend, track invoices, and ensure budgets are adhered to and consolidated monthly.
  • Analyze campaign performance and optimize digital channels to drive year-over-year growth.
  • Own the digital marketing calendar aligned with overall marketing initiatives and business objectives.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to align digital strategies with key products and priorities.
  • Integrate AI-powered tools to optimize marketing performance, improve targeting, automate workflows, and enhance customer engagement.
  • Ensure cohesive brand messaging across all digital touchpoints.
  • Manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and adapt to evolving priorities.
  • Traffic and approve all ads before launch, ensure campaign deadlines are met, and provide recaps to stakeholders.
  • Stay informed on digital marketing trends, emerging platforms, automation tools, and consumer behaviors.
  • Support overall business needs as required.

Requirements

  • 4-year degree with a focus on Marketing or equivalent experience.
  • Generally, 6+ years of e-commerce and digital marketing experience for an ecommerce business or agency.
  • Proven experience managing external agencies or vendor partners.
  • Technical proficiency in marketing platforms and tools such as Google Ads, Meta Ads, SEO tools, and Analytics.
  • Strong data-driven decision-making skills, including testing, segmentation, and performance analysis.
  • Excellent at conveying strategy and results, managing agency relationships, and cross-functional teamwork.
  • Solid understanding of paid search, paid social, programmatic, and affiliate channels.
  • Web analytics and reporting skills, with the ability to read and create reports.
  • Familiarity with web analytics terminology; Adobe Analytics experience preferred.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with AI integration in marketing.
  • Knowledge of retail media networks and emerging digital platforms.
  • Experience with automation tools and consumer behavior analysis.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing or related field.
  • Minimum 6 years of relevant digital marketing experience.
