The Digital Marketing Specialist supports the continued optimization of Galen's digital marketing experience delivered to student prospects, focusing on inbound marketing tactics to generate student leads and providing event marketing support.

Key Responsibilities

Carry out day-to-day project tasks as part of the development and execution of lead nurturing and marketing automation initiatives (email, SMS, other channels).
Collaborate on building and maintaining dynamic campaigns, communication flows, and segmentation strategies that enhance personalization and effectiveness based on business needs.
Create and optimize email and SMS communications using dynamic content tailored to various prospective student segments.
Analyze event and inbound campaign performance metrics and identify opportunities to refine campaign logic and improve user experience.
Support the digital and event-based marketing needs of the college's partnership managers, including developing creative briefs and executing Facebook events.
Support in the development and maintenance of Google My Business and Apple Maps listings.
Assist in the content and asset delivery of digital media campaigns in support of Galen's media agency partner.
Stay current with social/digital media trends and make recommendations on new communication modes.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
3+ years of experience in digital marketing or online marketing roles.
Working knowledge of marketing automation platforms such as Oracle Eloqua, Marketo, or HubSpot.
Experience with email/SMS marketing platforms like ConstantContact or MailChimp.
Experience with CRM and data management is a plus.
Experience with WordPress CMS, WP plugins such as Yoast SEO, and HTML/CSS knowledge is a big plus.
Experience with integrated marketing initiatives and strategy is a plus.
Experience with event management software such as Cvent, Eventbrite, or AirTable.
Working knowledge of Google Analytics or other web analytics platforms.

Nice to Have

Experience with tagging, tracking, and data integrations that power marketing technology stacks.

Qualifications

Experience in digital marketing roles for at least 3 years.
Knowledge of marketing automation and email/SMS platforms.
Experience with web analytics and CMS platforms.
